Firefighters from our department responded as a Rapid Intervention Team to a structure fire in the City of Rhinelander. The house located on Stevens Street had a fully involved front porch when Rhinelander firefighters arrived. A quick knockdown was perfomed on the porch, but fire had extended to the eaves and inside a Michigan roof making the fire hard to reach. Units were on scene several hours.
