GREEN BAY PACKERS TAILGATE TOUR

Tuesday, March 23, 2010 Plans have been finalized to bring several Green Bay Packer players to Rhinelander.

Members of the Green Bay Packers will hit the road during the fifth annual "Tailgate Tour," a four-day, four-city bus trip designed for the team to literally reach out across the state and thank fans in person for their enduring and enthusiastic support of the club through the years.

The Packers Tailgate Tour will visit Rhinelander on May 11, 2010 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature speeches and a question and answer period with the players. The doors will open at 4:00 p.m. for the event held at the Rhinelander Ice Arena on Timber Drive.

For the first time in the history of the Tailgate Tour, four players will accompany President and CEO Mark Murphy instead of the usual three. This year’s players include Pro Bowl Safety Nick Collins, Wide Receiver James Jones, Fullback John Kuhn and Offensive Tackle Chad Clifton.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday March 27 at Hodag BP  on Lincoln Street in Rhinelander, Paul’s Pump and Pantry on East Wall Street in Eagle River and Packerland Plus on Oneida Street in Minocqua. Tickets are $25.00 each and include admission, a souvenir, autographs, food and two beverages. Footballs autographed by the players will be given away as door prizes and Tailgate Tour t-shirts will be available for purchase.

Tickets will also be sold at the Pelican Fire Station on County Highway P March 27th and April 3rd from 10 to 2:00 p.m. until sold out.

The Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour is brought to you by Pelican Fire & Rescue in cooperation with Kindness for Kids and the Rhinelander Ice Association.
