Sample of new signs

Sample of new signs

Tuesday, June 8, 2010  The fire department will soon be installing new fire number signs across the entire township.  The new signs were purchased with an Assistance to Firefighters grant administered through the Department of Homeland Security.

The new signs are larger and very reflective allowing fire department, ambulance or law enforcement personnel to find you in an emergency.  They are two sided viewable from both directions.

The Town has passed an ordinance regulating the new fire number signs.  As property of the Town, the signs cannot be moved or altered.  See below picture for the entire ordinance.  The ordinance can also be found on our download page.
